Basketball Open Gym for Adults on Mondays (6-8 p.m.) The open gym is intended for partcipants 18 years of age and older. Arlene was diagnoised with Chordoma Cancer in late October. Kipp has been with her since they flew out November 16th to Minnesota. They went to the Mayo Research Clinic where immediately after evaluation they admitted her to St, Mary's Hospital where the Mayo doctors do their surgeries. Arlene had extensive surgery over a period of 4 days for around 48 surgical hours. She will be in the hospital in Minnesota for several months and faces a lenghty rehabilitation schedule once she is released. They have 4 children ages 3, 4, 9 and 13 who miss their parents terribly. We are raising money so that the children can visit their parents the end of January and also to help out with some of the family expenses. The family lives in Commerce City where the 2 oldest attend school. Family members (Riley, Stiffarm, Sherwood, and Cantrell families) are currently helping take care of the children whle their parents are in Minnesota. Everything has happened so quickly but we are thankful that Arlene has survived the operation and there is hope. Thank you to all who have prayed with us these past few weeks and have lent a helping hand to make the children's Christmas a happy one.
