We would like to thank Shannon Francis and Woodbine Ecology for coming out to help us prepare the soil on April 28th! Just a reminder, the Gardening Program will continue every Wednesday from 2-3:30pm here at DIC with Alistair Bane and we hope to see all of our community participate throughout the summer months (weekly through September)! Participants will receive a monthly newsletter, gardening tips, seeds to plant at home, as well as learn gardening techniques from various tribes and community members. Please contact Alistair at 303-936-2688 x 119 with any questions or if you would like to volunteer!

Two Native American attorneys will be on hand to answer your questions and to refer you to resources in the community regarding your legal issues. If you need help with a criminal case or family law issue (custody or child support) or landlord/tenant problem – attend the legal clinic free of charge. The two attorneys – Dianne Van Voorhees and Danielle L. Moore – have experience with a wide variety of legal areas and specific experience with Native issues.
