Elders Program

Native American Community Services has been providing services to the Elders since 2015. The Elders Program mission is to enhance and provide services that will enable elders to live a more productive, healthy lifestyle and ensure basic needs are met.

SERVICES PROVIDED: 

  •       Commodities For Seniors Program (60+)

  •       Monthly Luncheons  (60+ only) and social events

  •       Information/Referral Services

 

WOULD I BE ELIGIBLE FOR SERVICES?

  • Native Indian Elders residing in the Denver Metro area

  • Over the age of 60. Although we welcome Elders 50 years and older for Social Events

MONTHLY ELDERS LUNCHEON

Our elders luncheon is place for elders to socialize and share their wisdom every third Thursday of the month. Hosted at the Denver Indian Center located at 4407 Morrison Rd. Denver, CO 80219. Luncheons may include guest speakers from various service providers on a variety of topics, door prizes, and/or bingo.

 

GOALS 

  • To provide Elders with the opportunity for regular, culturally relevant, social, and recreational congregate activities.

  • To raise the awareness of services and benefits available to Elders, and assist Elders in accessing those services.

Agency hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday. We are closed from 12 pm to 1 pm for lunch.
