To be eligible, a participant must be a resident of Colorado, at least 18 years old, a member of a federally recognized tribe, unemployed, underemployed and meet income guidelines as per DOL standards http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/

What is the Native Workforce Program (NWP) ?
The NWP is an Adult WIOA program funded directly by the Department of Labor (DOL). The purpose of this program is to support comprehensive employment and training activities because a skilled workforce is critical to the future of our native communities. We can assist with the following;

referrals and placement

resume and skill building workshops

job and career pathway counseling

career assessments
-
GED educational assistance
WHO:
Native Americans, Alaskan Natives and Native Hawaiians who are economically disadvantaged and/or unemployed
